This doesn’t have to do with just vintage jewelry. I’ll tell you why in just a sec. I am totally addicted to Pinterest.com. If you look at a graph on how fast Pinterest is gaining momentum it would look like a skyrocket.
This is a realtivly new social media site. It’s super addicting and fun. Think of this concept but in the virtual world. Pin an important picture or flyer on your cork pinboard or magnet board. There’s tons of amazing pictures on there that pinners will add to their boards from vintage costume jewelry, delicious food pics to sue wong dresses.
If you’re a blogger or got an ecommerce business with tons of produc pictures. This is an excellent way to get exposure and traffic to your site. There’s so many ways you can use this. Someone from OKC thought this would be a great place to pin their craigslist ads. Check out OKC Craigslist. I’d also look at the Travel Channel and HGTV pinterest profiles. These are two pretty popular ones on there now. Here’s another one I’ve never heard of until now when I came across it on Pinterest, sheppardsoftware.com. Check out what people ore pinning.
Create and account and start pinning. You can upload images, add the Pin It button to your tool bar and pin things you find interesting on your pin boards. Check out some of these popular boards on Pinterst.com.
